1st Nutrition Winterschool
Welcome to the website of Nutrition Winterschool for Young Champions! The Nutrition Winterschool is organized by the Foundation for Nutrition Research together with the Nutraceuticals Research Group of University of Helsinki, Finland.
The theme of the 1st Nutrition Winterschool is ``Inflammation under Northern Lights'' (Scientific Programme), which takes place from the 1st to the 5th of February 2009, in Finnish Lapland. (Click here to see a map).
Although inflammation is a relatively new topic in nutrition sciences, it is rapidly developing and becoming increasingly important in both modern nutrition science and medicine. Our aim is to increase the awareness and knowledge on this field among both nutritionists and related postgraduate students. Within this scope, the Nutrition Winterschool will provide a broad range of academic presentations. We will also have interesting keynote lectures as well as many side programmes built around the natural scenic beauty of Lapland.
