Leisure time activities

Pyhätunturi (meaning Sacred hill) is a convention and holiday resort in the middle of Finnish Lapland. The chosen venue, i.e. the Pyhätunturi Hotel, is situated north of the Arctic Circle and is located in one of the most breathtakingly beautiful areas of Scandinavia. The Pyhä area has its own unique character, being a land of snow, ice and darkness, but which is often mystically illuminated by the Aurora borealis (northern lights), even in the middle of winter!

The Pyhätunturi area has excellent facilities for outdoor leisure time activities, including both downhill and cross-country skiing, and the hotel itself is located very close to the illuminated slopes and ski trails. Or, you might like to try a walk with snow shoes! Reindeer, husky and snowmobile safaris are also available. You can also relax and unwind indoors by availing of the hotel's leisure facilities, which include a gym, jacuzzi and sauna.
